First, you’ll need to pick the best brick wall soundproofing for you. This will depend on how much you want to spend, how much noise reduction you require and how much thickness you can add to your wall.
This option is relatively easy to install and one of the lowest-cost options for wall soundproofing. It is also a very slim option for brick-wall soundproofing. This option however is not the most effective noise reduction on the market.
In this option, you build a stud frame off your existing wall. You can then introduce acoustic mineral wool that is highly effective at absorbing noise. Over top of this you can install soundproof panels for a finished wall that works great for soundproofing and comes in at a mid-range price point.
The results of this type of system are the best you can get. But what exactly is a clip and channel system? This is an array of dual-density sound isolation clips (mini shock absorbers) that you attach to you wall and run a series of metal channels that act like a stud frame ready for plasterboard to be attached to. This system is actually one of the simplest to install whilst offering the best soundproofing for the money.
Generally, you can expect to pay £60-90 per meter squared for materials. If you are not installing it yourself you will also need to factor in the cost of installation. This is just a guide and can vary depending on your unique circumstances.
