Isolation Strips

iKoustic Isolation Strips reduce the transfer of sound vibrations between floor joists and stud frames. Isolation strips are a great low-cost upgrade to some soundproofing systems. Our isolation strips are made from up to 92% recycled material.

Isolation Strip FAQ

Isolation strips are rubber strips used in soundproofing systems. Typically they are adhered to timber either to decouple timber frames from walls or floor joists from floorboards.

Isolation strips are self-adhesive and just need to be laid on a pressed firmly into the timber.
